How to download fonts on Windows 10
If you haven’t found a suitable font for your purposes to apply on Windows 10, you can safely and download new fonts on Google Fonts.
The sidebar of Google Fonts, located on the right, allows you to filter different fonts. Check the boxes under Categories to select specific fonts. By clicking on Sorting, you can also decide how to sort the displayed fonts, while on Languages, you can view fonts of a specific language. To intensify the search, you have the options Number of Styles, Thickness, Slant, and Width, which translated means: Number of styles, Thickness, Inclination, and Width. By moving the relative sliders, you can get the font you are looking for.
To download a new font from Google Fonts, press the + button (red) located at the top right and press the black box at the bottom. Press the down arrow symbol and immediately after on Download to save the file in ZIP format, containing the files of the chosen font in the TFF format.

- Click on Get more fonts in the Microsoft Store.

How to install fonts on Windows 10
After downloading a new font the next thing is to install your new fonts on Windows 10, you have to double click on the zipped file to extract the files in .TTF format in a folder.
Then select the downloaded files in .TFF format and click with the right mouse button to select the Cut item from the pop-up menu.
Then
Go to C:WindowsFonts
Right-click the mouse in a place without icons.
Select the Paste item from the pop-up menu to install the fonts downloaded from the web on Windows 10.
Alternatively,
- Go to Start> Personalization> Fonts
- drag the downloaded font into this window.
- Please restart your computer, and that’s it.
How to change Windows 10 default font
Now it is time to explore your new font on Windows 10 by choosing it from the stream of fonts on your PC.
- Go to Start> Settings> Personalization> Fonts . Here you can analyze all the fonts available on your computer.
- Then use the key combination Windows + R to open the Run window, and type Regedit, and
- Press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
- Go to File> Export and name the configuration file with .reg extension.
- Press Save.
You will need it to make a backup of the current registry configuration, which will allow you to restore it if something goes wrong.

you can also create a restore point by typing the phrase: Create a restore point in the Windows 10 search bar.
After taking the appropriate precautions, close the Registry Editor and open Windows Notepad. Search for Notepad using the search bar and then click on Block notes.

In this last line of code, you have to enter the name of the font you want to apply in Windows 10.
Go to File> Save As.
In Save as type, select All files
Save the file with any name and extension .reg (for example, MyNewFont.reg or NewFont.reg).
All you have to do is double-click on the font file created to apply it and restart the operating system.

How to change the font size on Windows 10
After downloading and installing and applying the font, you can also change its size on by following the steps below.
Go to Start> Settings> Accessibility> Display.
Press in the drop-down list under the link. Change the size of apps and text on the main screen.
If you want to change the font size, just select another value between 100%, 125% (default), 150%, and 175%.

How to restore Windows 10 default font
If you don’t like the new font and want to go back to the previous font, start the registry editor again, always typing Regedit in Run ( Windows + R ) or directly in the Windows 10 search bar.

Click on File > Import
Select the old Registry configuration file to restore it (by clicking on the Open button in the dialog box) or return the system to the restore point created previously.

Create another .reg file with Notepad (for example, RestoreFont.reg) to insert the following string.
